Music Ministry

Music Ministry at Country Acres is a vital and important part of the worship life of the church. Here music takes an active role in the pursuit of honoring God through heart-felt, sincere, corporate worship. We believe that worship is a process that begins when God's people gather and continues through the spoken word, prayer, communion, and e God's people have an opportunity to respondto the moving of the Holy Spirit. We believe that worship is central in the lives of our people both at church and as they live their daily lives.

What Ministries Are Available?

Because we have a diverse and flourishing worship community, Country Acres offers a full variety of programs in the area of music.

What role does the Worship Choir play in worship?

The choir's role in the worship life of our church is three-fold.

The first is to Worship God. If the choir does not worship, how are they to demonstrate worship to the body as a whole? Second, the choir Leads in worship - the congregation looks to the choir to lead them. If the choir is unresponsive and not involved in the worship, the congregation will be the same. Finally, the choir will help to Model Worship. The choir is an example to the people.
